Writing Snacks Release

This Release and Agreement is between Writing Snacks, a website (www.writingsnacks.com) ,hereinafter referred to as the Publication, and the Author, the Author's heirs, employees, agents or assigns, or the illustrator, the illustrator's heirs, employees, agents or assigns, as signed below (hereinafter referred to as the Artist).

In consideration of publication in a future issue of the Publication, with no remuneration, the Author/Artist herein agrees: Writing Snacks shall have publishing rights as specified below to a creative writing or illustration entitled, (hereinafter referred to as the Work.)

Further:

* Discretionary Matters: The Publication, its employees, agents, or assigns shall have discretion as to publication date, location within the Publication, type style, pictorial accompaniment, printing edition size, distribution size or methodology, and all other design features, including editing connected with publication of the Work in the Publication. This includes deciding whether or if publication shall take place.

* Copyright Matters: The Author/Artist warrants that she/he is free to enter into this Agreement and the Work or any part thereof is original to the Author/Artist and is not owned, encumbered, bound or due to be bound in any way by any third party, entity or corporation.

* Permanent File: All materials including but not limited to drafts, manuscripts, pictures, or photos submitted by the Author/Artist become part of the Publication's permanent file as proof of submission and shall remain with the Publication unless otherwise agreed.

* Errors and Omissions: Author/Artist agrees to hold the Publication, its employees, agents or assigns forever harmless in the event an error or omission, typographical or otherwise, occurs in connection with or within the Work as published in the Publication.

* Interest Release: The Publication, by virtue of publishing the Work, does not acquire any rights; entitlements or interest in the Work except as specified above and releases the Author/Artist from any future financial or remunerative compensation in the event the Work is published elsewhere.

* Miscellaneous: All prior negotiations, contracts or agreement, if any, between the parties hereto relating to the Work are hereby merged into this Agreement and the Agreement is complete entire and the only Agreement between us. Amendments must be made on a separate document and endorsed by an officer of Writing Snacks.

*Jurisdiction: This document and any amendment, addendum or supplement shall be deemed to be rendered within the jurisdiction and governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any finding that a provision of this Agreement is prohibited by the laws of the State of Georgia shall not invalidate the remaining provisions of this Agreement.

* Indemnification: The Author/Artist agrees to indemnify the Publication, its officers, employees, agents or assigns in the event an action is brought against the Publication by a third party in connection with publishing the Work in the Publication.

* If this Release and Agreement is altered, changed, or modified in any way by either party it is automatically made null and void.

The rights to publish the Work as mentioned above are as follows:
